Completing the arena on Veteran difficulty guarantees a page drop.Īccount-bound pages could also be bought from the Impresario for five Event Tickets each. When you complete any Maelstrom Arena run, you have a chance to receive a Maelstrom Weapon Outfit Style page. Style pages for this weapon style became available during the 2019 Orsinium Anniversary event. Weapons cannot be crafted in this style, but the style exists as collectibles that can be applied using an outfit station. Maelstrom Weapons that drop from the Maelstrom Arena bear this style. I’m guessing it’d be a task to put such a set together and build around the VMA bow piece, but if it’s min/max you’re going for it just seems to reason being able to squeeze that one piece in there would be somewhat of an advantage. The Maelstrom Style is a unique Dwemer weapon style, seemingly made from recovered Dwemer Animunculi parts. ![]() I’m by no means an expert on the subject, but just thinking from a math perspective, my VMA bow is essentially a 1pc ‘set’, so I like to try to get two 5pc, a monster 2pc and VMA bow on back (DW for 2 of one of the 5pc so something like hunding’s or briarheart w 3 body and the other 5pc being 3 jewelry and 2 body).Īnyway - if all else is equal, like maybe my 2nd 5pc is AY, wouldn’t the bonus to hail for VMA be a definite boon over just using that slot for one of the set pieces bc it’s in a sort of unique position of being one of the few possible 1pc bonuses? Boosting its damage, as the vMA bow does, will typically boost your damage if you build your rotation around it and maintain as close to 100% uptime on it as possible. Endless Hail is typically one of the highest contributors to your overall DPS. CMX is great because it will give you a breakdown of how much each skill contributes to your overall DPS. Make sure to account for Endless Hail uptime. See the damage difference of Endless Hail between the two. To see the details of your damage better, get Combat Metrics up and running on the PTS. ![]() So they may trigger Advancing Yokeda if you have the bow on the back bar also. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but Venomous Claw damage ticks still count as melee DoT damage. Second, you should move Rearming Trap to front bar, so you spend more time on front bar, therefore increasing/maintaining your Advancing stacks. Advancing Yokeda is much better if you use a light attack rotation on the front bar as you will build and maintain those stacks better.
